Two ways to quiz yourself

Most players can strum along when a chord name floats overhead. Fewer can look at a chord diagram and instantly know what to play. Ukulele Chord Quiz closes that gap. Two quiz modes test you in both directions: see the shape, name it; see the name, find the shape. The chord selection is informed by frequency data from thousands of ukulele play-along videos, so you spend your time on the shapes that actually come up.

Built for how practice actually works

Two quiz modes

Name that Chord and Find that Chord test you in both directions. Wrong answers include chords that look similar to the correct one, making the quiz more effective for building visual recognition.

Four chord pools

Start with the Starter set of beginner chords and work up through Standard, Extended, and Full at your own pace.

Chord reference

Browse all chords in a searchable visual library, grouped by learning tier. Includes multiple voicings where applicable.

Shaped by real songs

Chord selection is informed by frequency data from thousands of ukulele play-along videos, so the most-used chords get more practice time.

Progress tracking

The app tracks your results per chord so you can see which shapes you have mastered and which ones still need work.

Free, no fuss

No subscription, no sign-in required to play, no ads. Just practice.

Grounded in real songs

The chord tiers are based on frequency data from thousands of ukulele play-along videos in the UkeAlong index — so the structure reflects what actually comes up in real songs. Full data at ukealong.com/statistics/.
